Since 1979, Luisa M. Bravo has played an integral role in the financial and insurance industry. Throughout her nearly 40 years of experience, she has dedicated her time, resources, and experience to help clients build greater confidence in their financial lives. Prior to establishing her own company in L.M. Bravo & Associates, Inc., Luisa worked for a number of leading firms, including AXA, Voya Financial, and others.
Luisa demonstrates seasoned understanding and approach to meeting the needs of high-net-worth individuals, successful professionals, business owners, and affluent women. While she thrives in a spectrum of financial disciplines, she specializes in business planning, retirement planning, and employee benefits. A longtime Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Luisa attended the University of Puerto Rico and earned her certificate of Financial Planning from Nova Southeastern University.
With each of her clients, Luisa’s primary objective is to cultivate a long-term relationship centered on their unique needs, goals, and desires. Her commitment to integrity, objectivity, and personalization ensure clients receive the absolute highest standard of attention and care. Luisa’s commitment to these values has solidified her reputation in the financial community, culminating in her receiving countless awards and industry recognition. Luisa adheres to her lifelong commitment to help make the world a better place to live. To continue fulfilling this personal objective, Luisa devotes considerable time and effort to work with community leaders in the area of childcare, elderly welfare, and women issues. Through her business and many coalitions with community groups, she continually creates new programs, resources, and opportunities to empower women and their businesses.
Becoming a successful financial adviser in a male-dominated profession has never kept Luisa from engaging in the South Florida community. Instead, career challenges have inspired her to become increasingly involved with various organizations and community groups. To name a few, she is a member and former president of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women, Member of The Dade County Association of Child Care Directors, former treasurer of Florida Exporter and Importer Association, and the Founder of Domestic Violence Taskforce in Miami-Dade County.
In the financial community, she is a Member of the National Association of Life Underwriters, Member of the Society of Financial Professionals, President of Eagle Lakes Office Park Condominium Association, Member of South Florida Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce, Member of the West Kendall Business Association, Founder of Homestead and the Keys Business Forum, former Director of NAWBO, and former Director of the Women Chamber of Commerce of Dade County.
Outside of the office, Luisa looks forward to spending time with her siblings, her nieces and nephews, and her six, adorable great-nieces and great-nephews who mean the world to her. In her free time, she enjoys painting, reading, and traveling.
